Dear friends,

A lot has happened since I last updated my journal...
And unfortunately it is not possible to share it all but I feel like I have changed and grown a lot these past weeks and moths.

I had the chance to improve certain aspects of my life. Finally moved on about some personal issues. I completed my first year in Anthropology... (time is flying!!) And I begun my vacations in the end of June.
I have been doing volunteer work in Habitat Braga and before that I did two weeks of volunteer work in Troia on archeological excavations.
In both places I had the chance to learn not only about archeology and construction building but about team work and sacrifice.
Working very well with some people and having to deal with other you don't really like. To do the extra mile when you feel like giving up.

I met beautiful people, beautiful both inside and outside. Very inspiring and very positive.
We talked a lot, we walked a lot, we sang a lot, we drank a lot of beer (= p), danced, laughed and cried... We worked together, helped each other and supported each other, we learned a lot. People from many places: India, Portugal, Sierra Leone, Romania, Spain, France, USA, Greece, Germany, you name it... It has been quite a cultural adventure!

My plans for the rest of the summer are on stand by... but I am sure I will find something just right!
